| Ingredients:
1 rib eye steak
1/2 cup water
2 tsp. beef base
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp. hot horseradish or 1 dash Tabasco or both
1 tsp. whole peppercorns
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Method:
Mix water and beef base, heat until dissolved. Add garlic and horseradish. Add cornstarch
and water and add to beef base mixture. Heat and thicken to gravy consistency. Crack 3/4
of the peppercorns with mortar and pestle. Leave the rest whole. Add to sauce. Broil
steaks to desired doneness. Pour sauce over. Serves 1.
